I've isolated bacteria, scaled fermentation processes, navigated regulatory compliance, designed experiments, reviewed patents, and built this website.

My background is microbiology. My work spans R&D, business operations, and techno-commercial roles. My mindset is: learn what's needed, execute, adapt.

I'm comfortable being a beginner in unfamiliar territory. That's how I've moved from molecular biology to manufacturing coordination to building digital things.

Master's in Microbiology (CGPA 9.31) from Modern College, Pune. Work experience in food science, fermentation, regulatory compliance, and product development. Currently figuring out what's next.

  • Led fermentation studies on chilli mash, optimizing LAB dominance under varying methodologies, salt concentrations, particle sizes, and anaerobic conditions
  • Designed preservative efficacy trials (benzoate, sorbate, metabisulphite, ascorbic acid, tocopherols, EDTA, blanching) to evaluate microbial stability, color retention, and shelf life
  • Standardized analytical assays and developed troubleshooting protocols for fermentation failures (kahm yeast, texture loss, off-flavors)
  • Developed fermented hot sauce with focus on stability, sensory profile, texture, packaging, and physicochemical characteristics aligned with FSSAI guidelines

  • Designed POC to evaluate efficacy of bitter blocker (taste modulator) in enhancing palatability of stevia; expanded design for chocolate, coffee, and tea applications

Analyzed NGS data to characterize and identify soil metagenomes across different cropping systems and fertilizers. Worked with bioinformatics tools to understand microbial diversity in agricultural contexts.

Isolated, identified, and characterized bacteria responsible for food poisoning at outlets frequented by Fergusson College students. Successfully detected Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, and Campylobacter.
